Registration of special motorhome?

Would you like to register your van as a motorhome?
The following criteria must be met:

• Existing Seating comfort in the vehicle with a Table (table may be foldable or removable)
• There must be a Sleeping place be installed with a minimum lying surface of 180 cm x 70 cm (sleeping area may be folded up during the day, folding bench seat is also permitted)
• Existing Cupboards or Storage space for luggage (clothing, supplies, etc.)
• Walk-in space of at least 1 square meter
• Standing height has been since the end of 2013 no longer required

Kitchen requirements:

• Kitchen must be firmly installed in the trolley (no hand screws)
• Stove must be firmly installed (no hand screw/wing nut)
• Stove must be approved for indoor use

Approval is partially possible with our kitchen modules, please check with the TÜV. Also find out about the cooking facilities. Our stove is not always approved by the TÜV.

First you have to take your van to the MOT. Once you have been given the green light here, you will be issued with the relevant vehicle documents. You must then use these from the Admissions office have a new operating permit issued with the updated data.
