VanEssa sleep systems in comparison
The most convenient and quickest solution for creating a bed in your car
With all VanEssa sleeping systems, a rear board is always placed in the trunk first. This is attached to existing points (rails or eyelets) in the vehicle.
There is a bar with locking pins at the end of the rear board. The board which is docked has a hole which then snaps into the tailboard.
Different needs require individual solutions.
To help you find out which sleep system is right for you, we have put together a brief overview below compiled.
Surfer" sleeping system
consisting of:
- Rear board (depth approx. 94.5 cm)
- a sleeping board (depth approx. 94.5 cm) with support legs already fitted at the front
Advantage:
- The sleeping board is simply pushed forward and snaps into place on the rear board - making it very easy to set up.
- The deeper boards provide maximum storage space.
Disadvantage:
- Slightly lower rear extension in tidy condition.
- Only one row of seats possible in the rear.
suitable for: if only one row of seats is required at the rear

Our recommendation for most classic trips
Surfer„ sleeping system - split
consisting of:
- Sternboard (depth approx. 94.5 cm) - the same as the Surfer
- two split boards to the front, each with support legs already fitted
Advantage:
Single travelers can, for example, transport a bicycle or a dog crate in the vehicle. In combination with a single seat, one side of the bed can also be used as a shelf or table.
This system can also be very practical without seats or with two people, as you can access the stowed luggage more easily. can reach. All you need to do is push one of the sleeping boards backwards.
suitable for: if you are also traveling alone or need space in the back during the day

Van" sleeping system
consisting of:
- Rear board (depth approx. 63 cm)
- a foldable board (depth 2x approx. 60 cm each)
- Two hinged lintels for storage
Advantage:
Due to the division in length, the bed only requires 63 cm in the boot when dismantled.
Everything is free to the front, so there is more space in the rear. This division and the flexible folding supports allow two rows of seats in the rear.

More individual parts than other bed variants. The clear height is interrupted by the supporting pillars of the folding support.
suitable forif two rows of seats are required and/or if storage space is needed at the front
