Our idea

The VanEssa idea arose from our own private needs. As passionate campers, we went on vacation with our large camper/van. However, this vehicle was not suitable for everyday use. A car alone should be usable for all purposes (work, transport, leisure, vacation). Our modular systems are ideal for anyone who loves spontaneous and individual travel, but can't or doesn't want to buy a motorhome.
A flexible van racking system - which is only installed in the van when it is needed. Otherwise, the van remains an everyday vehicle. This is how VanEssa mobilcamping was created in 2003.
The name "VanEssa" comes from a combination of "van" and "food". Our team uses the VanEssa systems for its own vacations. This means that new experiences and innovative ideas are constantly flowing into product development.

We focus on offering our customers high-quality solutions that are suitable for everyday use - from precise, high-quality craftsmanship to detailed personal advice.

Our goal

With our flexible concept, we want to give our customers the opportunity to combine everyday life, leisure and vacation with their van. It is no longer necessary to buy an expensive motorhome that can only be used for a few days or weeks a year.
Now you are no longer tied to a hotel or campsite, but can go on vacation wherever you want... that's your new freedom!

Made in Germany

We are a manufacturer. We design and manufacture our products ourselves (in our factory in Großhöhenrain). We use high-quality materials:

  • Lightweight and yet very stable: 12 mm poplar plywood coated with silver CPL, 2 mm ABS edges edged with water-resistant and heat-resistant PU adhesive
  • Anodized aluminium rods and materials
  • High-quality furniture fittings (soft pull-outs, elegant push locks with escutcheons, hinges, etc.)

We are constantly developing our products - whether through our own testing on private camping vacations or through customer requests and suggestions.

Our origin

Since its foundation in 1980 by the innovative master carpenter Hubert Vollert, the company has continued to develop. The initially small joinery increasingly concentrated on special orders and series production. In 2004, the company area was expanded from 200 square meters to 2500 square meters. The family business is now equipped with state-of-the-art machines (CNC) and employs 30 people.
