Incognito camping!? With the Black Edition your vehicle is so well "camouflaged" that it is almost unrecognisable as a camper. Thermal mats perfectly adapted to the vehicle windows. Insulating against heat and cold in black or silver-grey.

Overview and advantages

Rear set: rear window, side windows in passenger area (2 - 4 side windows)
3-piece set to complement VanEssa Mercedes packing bags or 5-piece set (see scope of delivery for details) (selection in dropdown menu)
Black and silvergrey; you decide which side should face outwards or inwards. Against heat, it is recommended to use the silver-grey side facing outwards.
Best insulation against heat and cold due to thermal mats (multilayer construction)
Reflection of sun and cold radiation on both sides
Darkening, thermal and visual protection in one
Cosy ambience in the interior
Individually tailored to each car window
Attachment with suction cups directly to the windows (included in delivery; must be installed once by the customer, then remain on the mats; see installation video below)

very heat-insulating material (8 mm thickness)
heat-coupled thermal layers; therefore no quilted seams and disturbing stitch holes
inside and outside covered with tear-resistant Multistrat protective film

Vehicle Requirements

Possible for the following vehicles

Mercedes vans from year of manufacture 2014 (W 447)
for vans with tailgate (no rear doors)
5-part version currently only for the length "long" (medium), for the compact or extra-long van variant available from about

* A cut-out for the motor is included in the rearmost two windows on models from 2014. Unfortunately, there is no other blackout mat for models without this motor.
* The blackout is suitable for Mercedes models with vehicle interior trim. The middle mats are cut to fit models with only one sliding door, so these mats are cut differently in size. If your vehicle has two sliding doors, one mat will protrude slightly at the top and bottom, but the blackout is guaranteed.
* In the case of uncovered vans, unshaded parts may remain around the mats.

Fixation & Video

The following explanatory video shows how to mount the suction cups for the first time. The installation of the suction cups on the blackout "Black Edition" is 1:1 like the installation on thermo mats with silver coating in the explanatory video.
