SWIVEL CONSOLE FOR VOLKSWAGEN T5/T6/T6.1 PASSENGER SEAT
Transforms any original VW seat into a comfortable swivel seat and enlarges the interior of your van in a "hand (seat) turn".Use the seat in an inverted position, for example to have breakfast in combination with a table or fashion tower in the van when it rains. The original seat is retained, the swivel seat fitting is simply mounted in between. The console can be rotated very easily thanks to built-in castors.

- Installation NOT possible with electrically adjustable passenger seat!
- Please note that a retrofitted rotating console may not be as perfectly adapted as the original installation. With the original seat, the rotation mechanism is already built directly into the seat console. Consequently, retrofitting occasionally results in a certain amount of flexibility under the console, which can occasionally cause a noise under the seat when it is not loaded. To prevent this, small wooden wheel chocks are supplied with the seat (see Figure 1 and Figure 2). To turn the seat, these must be removed in advance.
- The seat console cover must either remain removed after fitting the swivel console or be cut off at the top (see illustration3) so that the seat can be turned. You are welcome to send us your seat cover. We will cut it off cleanly and send it back to you.
- After fitting the new console with ABE, the seat can be moved forward approx. 3 cm less.

The swivel bracket is mounted between the passenger seat and the console. To do this
- The seat is unscrewed from the console
- The swivel console is screwed onto the original console
- If available, cables are inserted through the cable gland
- Then the seat is screwed onto the swivel console
The assembly costs for the installation at the VanEssa factory (see dropdown) are waived in the case of self-assembly
