SWIVEL CONSOLE FOR VOLKSWAGEN T5 / T6 / T6.1 PASSENGER SEAT

Converts any original VW seat into a comfortable swivel seat and enlarges the interior of your van by "turning the hand (seat) around".

Use the seat in an inverted position, for example to have breakfast in the van in combination with a table or modular tower when it rains. The original seat is retained, the swivel seat fitting is simply fitted in between. The console can be rotated very easily thanks to the integrated castors.

Assembly & installation

The swivel console is fitted between the front passenger seat and the console. For this purpose

the seat is unscrewed from the console
the swivel bracket screwed onto the original bracket
If available, cables are inserted through the cable gland
The seat is then screwed onto the swivel bracket

The installation costs for installation at the VanEssa factory (see dropdown) are not applicable for self-assembly

NO installation possible with electrically adjustable front passenger seat!
Please note that a retrofitted rotating console may not be as perfectly adapted as the original installation. In the original seat, the rotation mechanism is already installed directly in the seat console. As a result, retrofitting sometimes results in a certain amount of flexibility under the console, which can occasionally cause a noise under the seat when not under load. To prevent this, small wooden chocks are supplied with the delivery (see Figure1 ℹ
and Figure2 ℹ ). To turn the seat, these must be removed beforehand.
The seat console cover must either be removed after fitting the swivel console or cut off at the top (see Figure3, so that the seat can be rotated. You are welcome to send us your seat cover. We will cut it off cleanly and send it back to you.
After fitting the new console with ABE, the seat can be moved approx. 3 cm less forward
